For today, I leave you with this thought:
"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)
This is the only place in the New Testament in which the phrase, 'my church' is used. Jesus calls it His church. He purchased it with His blood (Acts 20:28, Rom. 3:25, Eph. 1:7).
Think on this: If God built the church and bought it with Christ's own blood, should we be allowed to change it ourselves without His authority?
